The first book in this series was one that I found difficult to put down as it was an excellent story hat just kept on delivering.
The characters were well formed with interesting and, for me, different back stories. The story kept moving along at a pace and was had an interesting twist at the end.
This follow up seems to somehow exceed the promise of the first story with the underlying arc/ backstory hopefully moving along as well as our "hero" facing a new case
The author's writing style is rounded with a lack of cliche yet easy to read.
Overall it looks and feels like a belter and a book that will definitely over to the top of my "TBR " list.
My recommendation would be to get a copy and enjoy the ride
