I was drawn to this book because I worked as a renal nurse many years ago. I have worked on a kidney transplant ward and dialysis unit, so the subject of transplants has always interested me.
This book seems to be a lively mixture of research, theory and part memoir. I think it will shed insight into this largely unknown profession and how it was performed in the past. A real eye-opener.
