awe-inspiring
Joshua Mezrich makes his job of preparing transplant organs sound the most natural thing in the world whilst keeping a strong sense of the miracle it is for so many people. This is now a well-accepted operation though for centuries it was unthinkable. It is not by any means common-place, least of all for the recipients or the families of the donors. This book gives detail, exposes emotions and explains, all at the same time.
