I love learning more about medical procedures and what it’s like to be a doctor, and this book immediately caught my eye as a result. Within the first few chapters alone, it achieved a fantastic balance of describing surgical elements in fascinating detail, while also staying rich in its storytelling nature. I was instantly hooked, reading on out of both medical curiosity and affection for the narrative character’s story. I can’t wait to read the rest!
