I am usually more into fiction however I have recently been reading a lot more non fiction as its really interesting to learn about topics in more detail. From the beginning of this book, I knew it would be full of interesting facts. The book seems to be part memoir, part detailed medical journal which I found difficult to get to grips with. The start of the book starts of casual and conversational however it did not take long until I found the book too intense for me and made me remember why I have not been drawn to medical memoirs in the past. Although the topic is interesting and I have complete respect to any one who works in the medical profession, I don't think I could read the enjoy book because of my initial lack of knowledge on the subject.
