Dr Joshua D.Mezrich shares his experience as a transplant surgeon. I was really engaged in this story as he broke down medical terms for the general public. This made the reading so much smoother and easier. I was engaged as he shares his encounters with donors and recipients while sharing a bit on the history of organ transplant and medical pioneers. This book intrigued me into the wonders of organ transplant. While I personally feel that it might not be interesting for all readers as the book generally revolves around anatomy, medical discoveries, etc, it still carries with it the dealings of loss and acceptance (feelings we all have in common). It was definitely eye-opening and I learn a lot scientifically as well as emotionally. It was a good read.
