Better than expected.
I expected this book to be very formal, aimed at medical professionals and not my cup of tea at all. However, after reading this, I feel very educated, and it has opened my eyes to viewing organ donation in a completely new way.
Seeing how a surgeon who makes the transfer between death and life was such an interesting world to enter. We often are grateful to the person who gave the organs, but I now have a whole new level of gratitude for the medical team behind making the miracle work.
I thought it was written in a way that was easy enough to understand, despite it being a medical based book, anyone can appreciate reading these memoirs.
It did take me a few pages to get into it, but after I did, I couldn't put the book down, I wanted to read one to the next part. There were some parts that stirred some emotions, and after reading it, I was surprised that I was so invested in a book which i did not expect to enjoy that much.
