I've only read the First Look sampler of How Death Becomes Life, but I will definitely be picking up a final copy. As I've recently graduated with a degree in physiology, I'm keen to keep up my knowledge and so greatly enjoy reading popular science books such as This is Going to Hurt. This book seems to be another great addition to the genre from what I've read. However, this may be too heavy on medical terms for those less used to medical writing. I really enjoyed the insight into an area of medicine that is often overlooked compared to neuroscience, psychology, and oncology. I also am very tine rested in the history of science and thought the inclusion of a timeline and historical summaries really added something to the story.
