I really wanted to win a copy of this book as I thoroughly enjoyed reading ‘This is going to hurt’ the journal of a junior doctor.
I found this book to be very educational in the world of transplant surgery and it has made me open my mind to how fragile life really is. We all know we have one chance but this book has truly opened my mind to how important it is to be a donor.
So many vital organs are wasted when they can be used to save a live. One person can save so many people.
Death is a tragedy in itself, if it was expected or happened suddenly it will always be tragic. But to have the power to save so many people from experiencing a loss when they really don’t need to is an invaluable gift. I’m so glad there are people trained to make this magic a reality.
