Already a fan of medical non fiction , I noticed the cover first before I read the synopsis. I found this book both extremely interesting and informative. I liked that it tells us about real people’s cases which was my favourite sections , it also describes some history of transplants to where we are today. Being non medically trained I just enjoy these books so it’s important to be able to understand the information being given Is written in such away that someone with no medical background can enjoy and this book did just that , even breaking down a medical description into easy to understand terms. I loved the authors honesty particularly about the guilt he can feel when something goes wrong. He doesn’t mince he words. A fantastic read for fans of medical non fiction.
