Strictly speaking I usually read fictional books, but as a writer myself I love exploring outside of my comfort zone to keep my imagination fresh and interesting.
How Death Becomes Life was a welcome surprise, although I love science as I once aspired to be a doctor myself, I find non fiction usually quite dry and boring but this book was so good that I am finding it hard to express jus how good.
For one, I did not know much about transplant surgery etc before reading this book and I learned so much and just how intense the job can be. It was quite an eye opener in all the best ways!
The writing style. I cannot emphasis how I nearly ended up reading it in one sitting, I loved it so much and if weren’t for how long it is I probably would’ve been able to read it in one sitting!
I can’t recommend this book highly enough, especially for people who are looking for a non fiction book that has a brilliant writing style.
