I found this book really interesting. I have watched multiple documentaries on similar topics and I find recent medical advancements. I think transplants is one of the most important medical advancement ever so this book is really interesting to see a book about it from a surgeon. The history of transplants is a big part of this book and I really enjoyed learning about over 100 years of history that I didn't know about before.

This book is really well written and allows us to explore the idea of death being able to bring life to others.

I like the discussion of different patients and their interactions. It reminded me of the psychoanalyst Groz's book which I have previously enjoyed. There is a really nice balance between talking about the history and talking about the patients. I will be looking for other books similar to this one as I really enjoyed it.
