The cover is beautiful, it really draws you in to the story set in the forest. Two women, both moved away, one already returned and working in the forest, both their stories sound intriguing, why the sudden falls and muscle weakness, how do their stories come together and will the butchers shop stay in the family? I like that this starts just before Christmas- the juxtaposition of the happy family working together and the lone worker on the outside of others’ celebrations, just getting by.
