This first look gives me a really warm and cosy feeling, reading about the life of a small family living in a forest and cooking for each other etc. I really love the forest setting in general, so this really appeals to the old lady living inside of me. I can't say this type of book is for me overall, sadly, as it feels like it will be quite introspective and slow-paced. I think if you like that sort of thing, especially focused on the female perspective, you will really like this book, but it isn't quite my thing.
