Contemporary is not my usual genre of book to read but I feel as though I may not have given the genre a chance. Thanks to the opening chapters of this book, I feel like I can quite happily pick up a contemporary book and actually enjoy it. What I've read so far was fantastic - it felt so real; the characters, the setting, the language all contributed to the realistic feel within this book. A must read contemporary and I can't wait to find out how it ends!
