After reading the blurb I wasn't sure that I would enjoy this book. Delving into the first chapter changed my mind - but set in a butcher's shop at Christmas made me think I should leave it a month or two to make the most of the atmosphere. I then read on to the next chapter and was hooked - why wait until Christmas? This book seems good enough to devour now.
