Gosh, this book draws you in straight away with the tale of Jo and then of Tessa. The opening description of the butchers shop on the run up to Christmas is so well described that the reader could be there. Its like every village butchers Christmas and I could smell it!.
There are obviously tales to develop but both Tessa and Jo are very likeable main characters that you want everything to work out well for them.
