Slow, but a slight hint of interest
My first impression is that it is a slow book, which is hard to get into. The author does describe some scenes, which create a feeling of British nostalgia, but I would like to have more of a hint as to what is come later in the book.
Some of the characters seem interesting, as the author seems to nail some of the typical people you would come across in a place, but seems to spend to long with the descriptions.
