By the time I'd reached the end of the second chapter I felt totally engaged with the two protagonists and just hate the thought of not getting to know them better, discovering how their lives will intertwine, how they'll resolve their problems and whether the Forest of Dean holds the roots to them discovering a sense of identity. I love this area of the country and hope that, as the story develops, it will convey the unique, rather mysterious atmosphere of that part of the country - the cover promises that it will!
