I love Christmas and was immediately drawn in with the imagery and description of Christmas for both the characters Jo and Tessa. I loved the parallels between the two and the hint at what's to come for them both, they are in different situations so I'd love to be able to read how life twists and turns to bring them to the end point.
The nostalgia, hints of an old life caught me off guard too and I can't express how much I loved the little bits and pieces we're told.
It just made the book all the more loveable.
