The opening chapters failed to engage me - there was a lot of detail regarding a butchers shop and the daily chores required to maintain such a profession. I am afraid I lost interest here. I did persevere onto the next chapter - which was about another character - but still not enough to tempt me further. Might appeal to those who are on a similar journey, but not for me.
