An abrupt ending.

I have to say this wasn't the best book I've ever read, but I did give it a four out of five stars. I found the two main characters very interesting. They both had a complicated past, which was very easy to buy into. I found myself willing them both on to succeed at something. I understood Jo's need to be back among her peer's and to be warm in the boosom of the family business. I also realised quite early on that it wasn't right for her and that was down to the great writing. Tessa brought out my motherly instinct. I just wanted to look after her and kiss her troubles away. I was very impressed by how well her condition was portrayed and by how it affected the character. The other characters had infectious personalities, which shone brightly. I was a little disappointed by the books conclusion. Even though it had the happy ending I hoped for, I thought it was rather abrupt and devoid of details. This book passed away a happy few hours.
