I really liked the cover of this and the blurb, I found the book quite charming, like the cover. The descriptions of the characters and their emotions was what I really liked about this book, the way they were described felt very real and authentic. I found the story had parts I wanted to get to quicker and delve into deeper, Jo and Liam’s relationship particularly. Their relationships with their mothers felt very touching. There were mixed timelines between their past and the present day and I did find this hard to keep track of without there being an obvious point of where these were used in the book. Overall I enjoyed this book, for the heartening descriptions of the characters and the way they went about their lives, the descriptions of this felt so accurate, the author has a wonderful way of capturing the emotions and making this feel very real.
