I was so looking forward to reading this book. I was immediately drawn to the title of the book and this combined with the quirky, cartoon like cover led me to expect a light hearted read around a topic which shouldn't be amusing but was promising to be just that. However I did not find this an easy read or a humorous read.
Kitty Collins is an online influencer from a privileged background who posts photos on Instagram and has millions of followers hanging on her every post. When one night she is followed home and threatened with sexual assault she decides enough is enough. The guy ends up dead and although his death is accidental, Kitty's killing spree has begun. Kitty takes on a role of Avenging Angel taking revenge on predatory men who clearly deserve it (Kitty's view). I found it far fetched in terms of how she escaped detection, got away with the killings and was never traced.
I think this is a book very much of its time where reality TV and social media stars are seen as something to aspire to and reality is just a fantasy.
