Even though I felt that this book was aimed at a younger audience than me, with it's social media influencers, designer labels, name dropping of trendy London haunts, etc..... I enjoyed it. In fact I really was laughing out loud in various places.
For what woman hasn't wanted to do what Kitty does, ridding the world of predatory men. The ones who feel that because they're bigger and stronger than you, it's fine to use that strength to intimidate. Or the ones who feel that because they've bought you a drink, they should own you for the night. And the really vile ones who think NO means YES.
The first couple of deaths we hear about were purely accidental- and hugely funny- although as is explained later, Kitty was no murder virgin by the time. To be honest, she's become quite addicted to it, trawling news stories and dating sites looking for her next victim/conquest. Until a case of mistaken identity sends her into a downward spiral.
For a debut novel this is really good, Kitty is a well fleshed out character, although I found most of her friends pretty obnoxious. They're all so horribly privileged and lie so often they wouldn't know the truth if it jumped up and bit them! But if you want a good laugh and can cope with a bit of gruesomeness (?) ... read this book.
