I was so excited to read this book, but for some reason after all this time I cannot get into it.
The premise is very good and although the main character is doing something wrong, knowing it from her perspective makes all the difference. She is right, we have all been worried about walking home and it shouldn’t be that way. It seems a bit far fetched but you rarely hear a story from the murderers perspective. There’s logic in her actions hut it doesn’t make it right. Her character is built up well and the fact she is seeing things from a woman’s perspective not just her own makes her a good protagonist.
There is a flair of humour in this that makes the story a bit more up beat that I like. This is what intrigued me from the first impression. However, for some reason I can’t pick up this book to finish it! I wish I could but I am not as invested as I thought I would be.
Sorry if this is a bit moany!
