I was attracted by its cover and intriguing title - it promised a fun, quirky story led by a strong female character. It had everything I wanted from a relaxing book.

It was super easy to read, had some interesting ideas but that was that. The characters, especially the heroine, were completely unlikable and annoying. Instead of being a fun and light read, it was a quite irritating. I am not sure if the author's idea was to actually create such grotesque, ridiculous characters - maybe it was something I have missed. But I ended up really disappointed. I really liked the plot idea and the concept, but I guess there was something there that did not click. Also, I found it was not exactly a thriller, which also made feel like I was lied to.

I would read another book by the same author and that is because I can see the good idea and intrigue. So, who knows, maybe next one will be better.
