I'm giving this three stars because it was easy to read, had plot twists I didn't see coming and was overall gripping to read. I didn't however care whatsoever for the romance subplot and wish it'd just not been included.

The plot was interesting but the whole time, I couldn't suspend my disbelief which kept drawing me out of the story because how on earth did Kitty get away with it when her phone was there, she used Tinder and let's not even talk about driving her car to all the places. It was just too much to keep ignoring.

I did like the climax part of her experiencing guilt and I almost wish that had been developed and explored a little further. Though I was in Kitty's head the whole time, I still feel like her character was never fully fleshed out. I just feel like there was something missing. I wanted more with her relationships with her friends and mother too. They all still feel so interchangeable.

Besides that, it's not really a book that will stick with me. I enjoyed reading but that's it. Would I recommend this? Probably if you like reading about the crime committer rather than the crime solver. I wouldn't go in expecting a thriller though. (Also, I would have liked this so much more if Kitty had panicked more or if we'd seen how she was super clever like The Talented Mr Ripley for instance which I enjoyed a lot more. I didn't just believe she was clever enough to get away with anything.)
