This was a first for me by this author. I found it to be quite slow going to start but loved the final 5 chapters, really gripped at the end didn’t want to put it down, after I nearly gave up on it 6 chapters in.
Glad I stuck with it. Loved the character and the reason why she was killing. Liked how she fell in love and wanted the relationship to work but still had a mission to complete and do what she enjoyed. People’s reviews of this book made me think it would be a laugh out loud book but unfortunately I didn’t think the same. Yes there were funny parts but wouldn’t describe it as hilarious. I hadn’t read any from this author before and I think I would read another but as with this book, I would expect her other to be a slow starter. I liked how you got a sense of the main character and how her friends were.
