A gripping thriller, perfect for summer
For me, summer is the perfect time for fast-paced, dramatic thrillers and idyllic getaway reads, and this story, being a mix of both, is everything I look for at this time of year.
The cover is a mixture of striking and soothing imagery, which I think works well with the tone of the first few chapters, as the characters move between the shock of their friend's death and the familiarity of old relationships.
I love how quickly I got to know the central group of friends, and I'd love to read on and see their connections develop further.
I'm also very intrigued by the secrets being kept by both Georgie and Bronwyn, and I can already sense the beginnings of a very suspenseful, twisty read. I'm hooked!
