Liked the intro a lot and found the humour drew me in. However, after that it failed to grab me. Seems to be the standard thriller with a central mystery at the heart. We are introduced to several characters and it looks like the book is going to switch between narrators, another trope that I am getting slightly tired of. The writing itself was a little stilted with some dialogue feeling forced. Don’t think this one is going to be for me.
