Not been impressed with the author’s two previous books.

Having read the author’s previous work and been underwhelmed, I wasn’t massively sold on the synopsis of this novel. I felt the first impression was an ok read but a little sluggish and I couldn’t see myself getting drawn into the story as the writing felt a little basic.
