Really enjoyed, am instantly intrigued

I really enjoyed this first impression. I liked that though we as the reader know that what happened wasn't an accident we truly have no inclining of what could have happened. I liked the first 2 character perspectives that we have been introduced to. Finally I liked that we already have action and things happening by the end of the second chapter and that the author didn't spend ages explaining the story or character relationships to us we are just able to pick those up as we go along.
