I am new to this author and enjoyed reading this book.

Told from 2 viewpoints: Georgie and Bron, the story starts with a memorial of their swimming friend Lissa, who died on the friends’ last swimming holiday. As well as the female cast there is also an array of male characters.

I would have liked the voices of Georgie and Bron to be more distinct as sometimes it was confusing who was speaking. But overall the effect worked well.

The book certainly keeps you guessing with plenty of twists to stop you getting bored.

I think it would have been good to get to know more about Jem, who remained a marginal character despite being the husband of Lissa.

A good, solid thriller, I would definitely read more by this author but at times it did feel a little slow paced.

Also an epilogue would have been good to see what happened to everyone down the line, but maybe there will be a sequel?
