I enjoyed reading "How to kill your best friend" once I got into it! I wasn't sure about the title and it took me a while to get into the story and to warm to any of the characters but it was definitely worth it. The further you read the more you like certain characters and become suspicious of others. The story is told from the perspectives of two friends Georgie and Bronwyn, who are on a tropical island for the memorial of their best friend Lissa. Soon things start to go wrong on the island and Bron and Georgie find themselves in danger and not knowing who they can trust. The story gets more fast paced the further into it you get and I found it quite creepy at times thinking about the dangers from humans, the rip rides and Kanu the mythical Sea creature! I guessed parts of what was going on but the book certainly kept me guessing lots! If you enjoyed other books by Lexie Elliott I think you would enjoy this one.
