It’s a little bit scary how quickly I managed to read this. I was so absorbed.

I definitely need to read more of Lexie Elliott’s books because this was great!

I loved the addition of different methods to kill someone. It was really creative and different! Very useful information to have… only joking (not)…

I didn’t like all of the characters, but I don’t think I was meant to. I loved Georgie and was so thankful for her PoV. Bronwyn’s was interesting, but I found her to be a very jarring character.

It’s not particularly fast-paced novel, but it worked really well as a slowburn one. There’s not much action until closer to the end, but there’s many revelations.

There’s a lot of twists and turns, and I genuinely didn’t know what to think. Even till the last page, Elliott was throwing a spanner in the works.

The only thing that I wasn’t a fan of was the long swimming passages. It just slowed the pace down of the novel a lot, and I found myself skimming these paragraphs.

Irrespective of this. the ending was absolutely perfect, and everything I wanted! It was so satisfying.

I would definitely recommend this for an immersive and epic pyschological thriller.
