An instant fast paced beginning which opens up to a what appears to be a plot twisting story.
You can immediatley see a group of friends who have moved in different directions and who each have their own demons and secrets. With the story starting with the memorial of a friend, the tense nature surrounding her untimely death is apparent with some characters questioning motives and what could have been done differently.
The writing on the mirror was the first plot twist which leads you to think it will be a "who done it" story showing the history leading up to the accident/death. This wasn't my initial thought, but by the middle of chapter 2, this will be a story from may perspectives and their role leading up to Lissas death.
I am immediatley drawn in and what to learn more about Gem, the friendship group dynamic and what secrets each member of the group is hiding.
A very descriptive scene setting begginning and I look forward to reading the full book
