I'm partial to a thriller myself, and from the moment that I saw this book I knew it would be one that I had to read. I absolutely love the front cover, and think it really sets the scene for the story. A group of friends who have been close since their college days are staying on a remote island, when one of them drowns. A tragic accident? Not likely, as the victim is an experienced swimmer. From the moment you find out about the drowning, you have your suspicions and never know who to trust.

The way that the book is written keeps you guessing too. You twist and turn between characters, trying to work out who has motive and the drive to kill. There were a few twists that I didn't expect either, which is always the mark of a good mystery story. I really liked the fact that there was nothing too gruesome or explicit within the story too, meaning that this book would be suited to those who may not always lean towards a thriller.
