I really enjoyed this book and devoured it in a day!
The story, set at Lissa’s memorial at her luxury resort on a remote island, is told from the point of view of her best friends, Georgie and Bronwyn. There is also a third strand as someone thinks through the best way to kill their best friend…….
The friends are all swimmers who have known each other since University and much of the book is set around their love of swimming together in the sea which makes for a dramatic setting and a thread that weaves through their history and the events that unfold.
The plot twists and turns and leaves you guessing at the group’s secrets all the way through. The characters are believable and the relationships between them unfold as you uncover more of the past. There is plenty of suspense and drama but the story never descends into anything too dark or graphic making it an enjoyable read.
