This book had me gripped from the start, about a quarter of the way through I did figure out the plot though. Georgie , Lissa and bron are best friends from university and they share a lot of secrets between them, but Georgie and bron share one that has devastating consequences for them all. Georgie is devastated to learn that Lissa is dead presumed drown, but how can that be when they are a very good group of swimmers ( on the swim team at uni) . They all meet up on the island paradise that Lissa and her second husband Jen own to have a memorial but things don’t appear right to Georgie from the very beginning and she starts to ask questions about her friends and secrets start to come out with some devastating consequences for all concerned. I like that after they get off the island the author actually finish’s the story so we know all the facts, an absolutely brilliantly told story
