I really enjoyed reading the book How To Kill Your Best Friend by Lexie Elliott. This was a fantastic mystery thriller that was hard to put down.
The book is told from two female POVs, Georgie and Bronwyn. Georgie, Lissa and Bronwyn have been best friends for many years. The story begins with Georgie flying out to the island for Lissa's memorial service. Lissa disappeared after swimming in Kanu Cove, which is considered dangerous. Georgie cannot come to terms with the fact that Lissa drowned. After all, Lissa was a very strong open swimmer.
Each character is hiding their secrets. As the book progresses, secrets are revealed and odd messages are received. How did Lissa die? Why was she swimming in Kanu Cove? Why are people afraid of Kanu Cove?
I would recommend this gripping read to others and I will be looking out for more books by this author.
