I personally found the book quite fast paced and intriguing.
Initially I kept wondering who was behind all the messages and Lissa death, however seen that I am a good detective I did manage to figure part of the ending out 🙈
Reading the book is clear as well @lexieelliottwrites passion for swimming, especially during the last chapters (can’t say more as this would spoil the whole book for you!)
Probably the end scene would have been a bit better without the very descriptive swim.. but apart from that the tension is was high!
Only detail that bugged me a bit, was the Kanu’s monster inclusion. Should we take that as a metaphor for something? I just felt it could have been avoided otherwise.
Still a book I’d recommend, but probably don’t let your best friend see the title, as mine got a bit preoccupied and was almost thinking about moving out 😂
