This is another tale about a group of 'friends' who have issues with one another, which of course is implied by the title, and it hangs on to the suspense and mystery all the way through.
I liked the way in which the story was told by two different characters and also not knowing which character kept popping up every so often with a description of how to murder someone.
There is quite an emphasis on the swimming element all the way through the book, which, having read the jacket description of the author I now see why. This will probably appeal to the growing number of people who have taken to open water swimming. I found the passages about swimming quite educational but I felt there were rather too many references to the sea serpent.
I wasn't wholly gripped all of the time, which is why I have only given three stars but I did stick with it until the end to find out if my initial prediction of who did it was correct.
