I received this as an ARC from Readers First. I was captivated by reading the first look and very happy when I received it so I could read the rest of this tangled web of friendships.

Right from the offset the reader is thrust into an unusual set of circumstances when we meet Georgie, one of two narrators and the closest friend of Lissa who has drowned at the age of 35 in a dangerous cove local to the hotel she owns with her second husband Jem. It is clear that this will not be a normal memorial, and that there are a number of secrets and tensions underlying for the rest of the friendship group that has attended.

Wild water swimming, copious amounts of alcohol and some mysterious and threatening messages left for Bron, the other narrator, make this a riveting read as the history and dark secrets of the group unfolds.

A very good thriller, an unusual setting and a good few twists, I definitely enjoyed this book!
