theere is definitely quite a lott of tension between the characters as well as a lot of mystery within the book, and it does actually end up keeping you indefinitely hooked on the words through the way it is written, which is wonderful and unique, you keep on reading, wanting to read on towards the very ending of the book to find out whether or not any of them ever actually do make it off the island alive..... i thoroughly enjoyed being put on the edge of my seat through out the whole book, wondering what was going to happen next to the main characters and if they make it out alive... so yeah :)))))))))))))
