I actually enjoyed this book a lot more than I expected to when I picked it up. The story immediately hooks you with a cliffhanger that made me not want to stop readng until I knew the answer to the mystery. The writing style is gripping and though I've read a lot of books like this, this one definitely seems a bit more thought out, and the plot was a little more creative than others in the same genre.
I loved that the cover matched perfectly wth the theme of the book, and kept my mind in the moment as it was easy to sink into the scenery of the beach evey time I picked it up to contine reading.
I did enjoy that this focused more on the mystery and the twists and turns, rather than putting the focus too much on violence as thrillers often do, so it felt like a a more light hearted thriller where I could get lost in the screts being unreavelled and the plot, rather than any action.
