This is a really good thriller. It is one of those books that starts off slowly as it introduces you to all the characters and gives you time to get to know them and their shared histories and then the pace gradually gathers pace as the story, and tension reaches its climax. The ending for this book is really good, and definitely won’t leave you disappointed.
The story is told In too voices that of Georgie and Bronwyn. It starts with Georgie arriving at the remote holiday island for the memorial of her best friend Lissa. The three of them have been best friends since they met at university through the swimming team. Georgie has her doubts about Lissa’s supposed accidental death, the local police having ruled that she died by drowning whilst out on an open water. As the weather starts to take a turn for the worse and strange things start happening the small group of friends start to realise that Lissa's death might not be the end. But will they make it off the island alive?
