I was excited to read this book, and I was lucky enough to receive an advance copy from Reader's First.
I found the first third a little slow, but persevered and was glad I did as the ending was really great.
Friends have gathered at a exclusive resort to attend the memorial of Lissa who has died swimming. Soon though suspicions are aroused among the group...how and why did she did?
The story is told in alternating chapters from the perspectives of Georgie and Bronwyn. I found Georgie a much more engaging character, and initially found the chapters told from Bronwyns point of view a little uninspiring and just wanted the story to go back to being told be Georgie.
However, as the book developed, the plot felt more evenly split between the two of them, and was more enjoyable as a result. There were also some interesting make characters who added to the overall story.
The ending is definitely worth reading on for, I would recommend perseverance!
