How to kill your best friend was a superb read that kept me gripped and intrigued to the very end. There are lots of books around like this at the moment but that is not a reason to pass this one over. A group of people are on an isolated island and somebody is missing presumed dead. They all are suspected of being involved in her disappearance in some way but nothing is as simple as it seems at first. And yet this book didn't feel repetitive. The characters had their own personalities and depth which gave life to the story. The description of the island made it believable especially the description of the waves and tides. The book cover fitted perfectly with the description within the book but gave a slightly more romantic feel than I would have wanted. The title instantly lends itself to a first read of the blurb and then you'll want to know what happens next.
