I was really disappointed with this book. I predicted what was going to happen about a third of the way in which was such a shame as that particular storyline, I feel, has been done so many times. That said there was a little twist at the end, which I had kind of guessed anyway, but it was nice to know that I was thinking along the same lines as the author.
So, Georgie heads out to a little sunny island somewhere to attend the funeral of her best friend Lissa. Also in attendance are some other friends of Georgie and Lissa. They are all staying at a hotel resort owned by the deceased and her partner Jem. Strange things start happening and threats are made in the strangest of ways. Not all is as it seems, with an urban legend serpent in the sea, mystery boats whizzing by and bizarre writing on mirrors. Did Lissa really drown like they are all saying or is something else more sinister happening?
